Meraki by Saima is a small womenswear label. This page explains, in plain terms, what this website collects, why, and what you can turn off.

What you send us

The only information you actively give this website is what you type into an inquiry. That is:

• your name
• your phone number
• your email address
• the U.S. state you are in
• a preferred size, if you choose one
• anything you write in the message box
• which pieces you added to your inquiry

We ask for these because an inquiry is the start of a conversation — our team replies to you directly to talk through sizing, fabric, price and timing. There is no checkout on this site and no payment is taken here, so we never see card details.

What you write in an inquiry is used to answer you. It is separate from the advertising measurement described below: your name, phone number and email address are not sent to Meta or OpenAI, and are not used to help them recognise you.

What the site stores in your browser

Your inquiry list is kept in your own browser's local storage so it survives a refresh. So is a short identifier for an inquiry you are part-way through sending, which stops the same inquiry arriving twice if your connection drops, and your answer to the cookie question below. None of these are advertising cookies and none of them leave your device on their own.

Analytics and advertising cookies

If you accept, this site loads advertising measurement technology from the platforms we advertise on: the Meta Pixel, for Facebook and Instagram, and OpenAI's advertising measurement, for ads shown in ChatGPT. Each one tells that provider a browser visited the site, and sets its own cookies or similar browser identifiers so a visit can be connected back to an ad someone clicked.

What we send is about pages and pieces, not about you. Depending on the provider it can include the page you are on, a piece you looked at, a piece you added to your inquiry list, and the fact that an inquiry was sent successfully. For a piece that means its name, its reference and its price.

We do not send these providers your name, phone number, email address, your message, or anything else from an inquiry. When an inquiry is sent successfully we tell them that one happened, and nothing about who sent it or what it contained. We do not use your email address or phone number to help them recognise you, and we do not upload customer lists to them.

We use this for one thing: seeing which advertising brings people to the site and leads to an inquiry, so a small budget can be spent sensibly. If you decline, none of it is loaded and none of their cookies are set. The site works the same either way.

Changing your mind

Your choice is remembered in your browser until you change it. Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page to switch. If you decline after previously accepting, we stop sending these providers anything from that moment — but we cannot undo information already sent, or remove cookies they have already set on your device. To clear those, use your browser's own settings for deleting cookies and site data.

Who else handles this information

We use a small number of services to run the site, and your information passes through them:

• Vercel hosts the website and serves its pages.
• Supabase stores inquiries in our database.
• Meta receives site-activity information for advertising measurement, but only if you accept.
• OpenAI receives the same kind of site-activity information, for advertising measurement of ads shown in ChatGPT, and again only if you accept.

These providers keep their own server logs, which typically include IP addresses, as a normal part of running a website. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

How long we keep inquiries

Inquiries are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of orders and commissions. We have not set a fixed deletion schedule, and we would rather say so than promise one we do not run. If you would like your inquiry removed, ask us and we will delete it.

Your choices

• Decline analytics and advertising cookies, at any time, using Cookie preferences.
• Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
• Clear this site's stored data using your browser's settings, which also clears your inquiry list and your cookie choice.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your information. Ask us and we will do our best to honour them.

Children

This site is meant for adults shopping for clothing. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
